Farmhouse Table

The request was for a farmhouse style table with lots of character.  After initially looking at reclaimed lumber, we decided on hickory from a local semi-retired sawyer.... what a great guy and so much knowledge. Traditional breadboard ends compliment grain and knots that were intentionally highlighted. The base of the table is built from solid poplar using mortise and tenon joinery, with a drawer featuring dovetails.
