Bench

Bench in the spirit of designer Sam Maloof (https://www.sammaloofwoodworker.com/). Working with rough cut black walnut from a local sawyer. The seat was contoured and the joints were blended using a combination of techniques (router sled, angle grinder with carving disc and/or 24 grit sandpaper, Foredom rotary tool with carving burrs, lots and lots of hand sanding). The "Maloof joints" turned out nice and tight. Finished with Danish Oil, satin poly, paste wax.
